On the morning of November 19, 2024, our school successfully held a program cooperation symposium with the International School of Dhurakij Pundit University in East Coast Campus. Wang Shanshan, Assistant to the President and Dean of the International School of Dhurakij Pundit University, Xu Xiaobo, Director of the International Affairs Office of the International School, Liang Qiang, Dean of the Shantou University School of Business, Su Bingtian, Deputy Secretary, Jiang Jiamei from International Affairs office and Li Yanzhou from Executive Education (EE) Program attended the symposium.
Su Bingtian first introduced the basic situation of the School to the guests, including the faculty strength, discipline construction, and achievements in student cultivation. Jiang Jiamei introduced the outstanding achievements and typical cases of the school in international exchange and cooperation. At the symposium, Cao Zixi, a student from the School, also shared her harvests and insights from her study visit to Thailand during the summer vacation.
During the discussion session, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as faculty and student exchanges, exchange student programs, and short-term study visit programs, and reached a consensus on cooperation. This symposium has further deepened mutual understanding and friendship between the two parties, and laid a solid foundation for their future cooperation and development, opening up new avenues for joint exploration of international education and academic exchanges.
